Giving Thanks, Thanksgiving and Who We Are

Thanksgiving in the USA is approaching.

The day is near to be reflective on what we have and where it came from. Being a person of religious upbringing makes me believe in One God Almighty, the Creator of all the Heavens and the Earth as well as everything new we discover in the Universe. A day set aside by our forefathers to recognize this was not the intent and to give thanks for it all on one specified day is a curious but delightful event. I believe giving thanks should be daily not annually, but Thanksgiving was needed to ignite an economic and ecclesiastical revival of sorts. Search out the word "Thanksgiving" and reflect upon the things you are thankful for. I am thankful that I can be and help others to be. What they will be and what I will be is the great question. The answers are more difficult to accept than the questions my friends. I cannot see where the rest of the year will take us, but I do think that there are some that want to keep us from being thankful daily. It is far more profitable for them to make us believe we need to be thankful when they see fit. Maybe it goes back to power to control as most things do. Anyway, I am thankful and will pronounce it loudly this Thanksgiving Day! You might want to check out some history info here "Gobble, Gobble"

Why?

The question that has been asked since humanity ate from the "tree of knowledge."  We must also remember that another tree also existed in the Garden of Eden, the "tree of life."
